I decided to include among the things that I can offer to my customers for sale, as wel as PORTRAITS, PAPER DOLLS, PIN-UP and other things, the PHOTO FILM STORY like what I just packed.
In the period Kenyan, among other activities, I started to do the seamstress ... but not paper models !! A mini collection of unique pieces inspired by the '60s. A little 'flower children and a bit' of madness!
From Sunday, April 10 to Wednesday 13, it will expose them to sell them, in a location in Via Solferino 24 \ A in Milan (in the heart of Brera District) from 11 to 18.
For those who want to know the characters of Footprints in the sand, here revealed the mystery ... Unfortunately, the book is, for the moment only in Italian, and is formed e.book
The Casa Batllo is the work of the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi and is in Barcelona in Spain. Considered one of the most original works of the famous architect, the building was declared in 2005 a World Heritage Site. In 1904 Josep Batllo, highly placed industrial textile, commissioned to Gaudí the task of refurbishing a modest building purchased the previous year for the family. Gaudí's work was completed in 1907, the building's appearance changed greatly, revolutionizing facade and inventing a new way of making architecture.
Sometimes I wonder where we will end. These guys, in a fashion show last spring, what they represent? However, a well-known fashion house, has asked me to do portraits inspired to these characters !!
There is something new, just came out my new book "Footprints in the sand" in e-book format and is in all online bookstores. It 'a novel about intrigue and passions and takes place between Milan, New York and, of course, Kenya. Hope you like it. Enjoy the reading.
A few nights ago I went to see a wonderful show at Expo: "Allavita" of the Cirque du Soleil. It is a Canadian company of acrobats dancers, very famous in the world, which has been engaged for three months and that has cost eight million euro.
Of course it has been criticized within the Italian theater companies and probably with good reason ...
The other day, Milan, has given me a pleasant evening .... cultural and edible! First I visited the exhibition at the Triennale "Arts & Foods". Organized as outside salon Expo. Interesting and fun (I will give you a little taste). Then a dinner on the roof of the building Triennale, where they have just opened a restaurant "Osteria con vista", of the starry Chef Stefano Cervani that prepared a delicious menu, sophisticated and tasty. I went to bed happy!!
Last night I took a ride downtown to rediscover my Milan. I realize that, missing for several months, many things have changed and improved. With the Expo, the city is like a beautiful woman wearing makeup and dressed to the latest fashion, to impress the world. Arrived in Piazza Duomo, I admired the multimedia installation on the facade of the Royal Palace, turned into a big screen to tell the Milan of the fifteenth century, the golden age for Milan. The projection follows the life of the court, the territorial conquests, the great commercial expansion and architecture in Milan, and the period of aid and assistance to the sick. It is part of the many events in the city of Expo.
Yesterday I was checking if I had reservations for my house in Kenya that I put on #airbnb #African magic and I came across this fun way to stay in London. Really fantastic houseboat: eight meters long, it weighs 70 tons and includes a living room, two bedrooms a bathroom and a garden with real grass and an apple tree.
In February, when I was in Kenya, I did redo the roof of the house of makuti. Three weeks of madness !! 15 men bivouacked in my garden, while the work performed. They were on time, but when they left, the garden looked like a cyclone had passed ...
