I participated, with some of my works from the collection Tribal Possession and African Vips, to the collective exhibition of artists from the coast: PWANI comes Upcountry. The exhibition was organized by the Alliance Française’s refined director of Mombasa, in the prestigious Nairobi location. The exhibition runs November 6 to 23.
The inauguration was attended by many prominent personalities of the social and political life of the capital. There was Lydia Galavu, curator of the museum in Nairobi, the actor Abubakar Ismael, Jean-Pierre Tutin Cultural Counsellor at the French Embassy and many others.
The Minister of Culture and Development, said in an interview: "It 's a pleasure to inaugurate the exhibition of these talented artists of the coast."
