In our African house , we have always said that monkeys do not come to visit us.
I love monkeys, I also own a nice collection of them of different materials and shapes, but, actually, with all the stuff that we have around, outdoors, would be a bit 'dangerous .... in fact ...

I just arrived in Kenya and I came across a very sweet scene. The mother with her child who bathed on the banks of the river.
Of corse not near the town center, where the animals do not venture more, but during an excursion by boat that I did along the river that empties into the deep Creek and that it's navigable only during the high tide.
The reason that zebras have stripes has been a mystery for some time. Is it for camouflage? To keep cool? To attract mates? To make them look thin? Actually, it’s none of the above.
A group from the University of California, Davis recently discovered that striping is heavier in areas where biting flies are more prominent. And their study published in Nature Communications claims the real reason that stripes are useful is as a bug repellent. This follows previous studies which showed that horseflies tend to avoid horses painted with stripes.
Kathakali is a dancing style of classical theater in the area of Kerala in India.I attended a performance in the theater of Cochin and I was fascinated.Especially the preparation is very interesting, and consists of a complicated face makeup of the various Actors dancers. What enhances the show is the harmony that exists between the music, gestures and facial expressions of the Actors.

This time the art is the pretext for a story about , quite well, the lowest level of political correctness in which a corporation may be willing to come down. He is doing around the world, in fact , the news that the giant Haribo sweets , whose founder Hans Riegel passed away recently in almost 90 years , has withdrawn from the Danish market and the Swedish package of gummy licorice called " Skipper Mix" . The accusation that has been leveled to the company? That racism. Nothing less for a bag of candy in the countries involved in the controversy in sales for several years , the forms of which depict masks inspired by primitive art , drawn from African, Asian or Native American and pre-Columbian , which allegedly represent negative stereotypes related to those populations. Unbelievable but true, Haribo said he had taken into account the critical remarks came on the web in recent weeks and that he had temporarily taken off the market mix of chewy. "We decided to keep the product , but with the removal of certain parts that consumers find offensive ," said Ola Dagliden , at the head of Haribo Sweden.
